🗺️ Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fez ➝ Ifrane ➝ Midelt ➝ Merzouga (Camel Trek & Desert Camp)

Early departure from Fez, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with a stop in the alpine town of Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou.

Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley toward the Sahara Desert.

Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon and meet your camels.

Begin your camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Witness the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in a traditional Berber camp, enjoying dinner, music, and a night under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga ➝ Todra Gorge ➝ Draa Valley ➝ Ouarzazate

Wake early for a breathtaking sunrise over the desert.

Enjoy breakfast at the camp before departing by vehicle.

Travel through Tinejdad and stop at the impressive Todra Gorge, famous for its towering rock walls.

Continue your journey through the palm groves and villages of the scenic Draa Valley.

Arrive in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert and Morocco’s film capital.

Day 3: Ouarzazate ➝ Ait Benhaddou ➝ High Atlas ➝ Marrakech

Morning visit to Taourirt Kasbah and optionally the Atlas Film Studios.

Stop at the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village and filming location for many Hollywood films.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with panoramic views and photo opportunities along the way.

Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
